Business Challenge
The client had coverage everywhere, but confidence nowhere.
Production sites used different hardware generations, different protocol bridges, and different alarm rules. Operators performed manual checks because they did not trust the dashboards to reflect the actual condition of the plant in real time.
Management needed a model that could unify monitoring, preserve compatibility with legacy field assets, and still provide measurable KPIs across sites without triggering a full hardware replacement program.
Architecture Delivered
We built an edge-to-cloud mesh that treated signal quality as a first-class requirement.
The program introduced gateway aggregation, normalized telemetry contracts, deterministic buffering, and retry-safe pipelines so site connectivity issues would not silently corrupt decision making. Quality flags and replay logic were added to protect the integrity of the event stream.
On top of that foundation, alerts were rebuilt around priority logic and dependency-aware suppression. Operators could finally see which incident was causal, which was downstream noise, and which workflow should start first.
